Remembrance day

The students from room 207 really rose to the occasion today, showing up, dressed in black-and-white and putting on serious attitude for the events of the day. Our class was in charge of the sharing, so all of the introductions, and thank youse were handled by students from our class. In addition to that, our class prepared for over a week to perform a mini play about the highway of heroes. everyone who was present today played a role either for one part or for several. A couple people had to step in as under studies and pick up some pieces, but in the end, it was a rousing success. Just yesterday we decided that we needed to add something, so we rehearsed the song Highway of heroes by the Canadian band called the Trews.  After our play finished, we rotated to ukuleles and guitars, and we sang the song beautifully. The ceremony went off very well, and we had lots of compliments from staff and parents who visited. At the end of the day, we walked down to the Westborough senator to take in the remembrance Day ceremony there. I had a few people speak to me after the ceremony and complement me on how well behaved the students were and how nice it is to see us at this local event.
