Ukes are back!!!

After an almost two year hiatus due to the pandemic, we are back playing ukes at Churchill!!

Here is a bit of what we have been able to hang up to show student work.  Not many visitors to the halls nowadays, and we have to keep everything out of touching zones, but the students like to see their work shared with their peers.

Among other things we will talk about the structure of our day, the classroom, and some of what the students have been reflecting on so far this year.

Terry Fox Fun!

Today our class help set up and then clean up from the Terry Fox event that we have held at Churchill. We’ve been hosting this event for 20 years, and today was a success all around. Lots of smiles fun and exercise as part of our efforts to raise awareness and raise money for cancer research.
