Skilled Trades Presentation

Today we had a presentation from Shelley, representing the skilled trades in Ontario.  She talked about the variety of jobs in the skilled trades sector, what they entail, and their importance to our society.  Our students would have kept asking her questions all day if we let them.  It was an informative presentation for them.

We finally got out and skated this past week.  It was a beautiful day to be out and everyone was in great spirits.

Cross country Ski Experience

The students of room 207 got down to the Kichi Sibi trail for some fun along the cross country ski track.  It was a beautiful day to be outside and attitudes were perfect for the day!  Lots of fun and new experiences.  4 students had never been on skis of any kind, and 13 had never been on cross country skis!
