Our work today in math had us using a visual representation of numbers to generate rich discussion about numeracy. Students worked independently, with colours, to identify shapes, numbers, and patterns on their sheets, and then we came together to discuss what they found. Everyone was able to see new ideas as their peers shared varying perspectives.
