Math-o-Lanterns with Room 303

To prepare for tonight's math freaks event, our class and the students from room 303 got together to complete the math – O – Lanterns activity.  This is the math activity that involves estimation and measurement of mass volume and length.  There was a lot of math talk going on, and a lot of pumpkin related fun. It really got us ready for the big event this evening.

Ask your child what common mistake pretty much all students in our classes made when it came to estimating the number of seeds.

Maple Lawn With Kinder Buddies

On Wednesday we walked to Maple Lawn gardens with our reading buddies.  While there we did a scavenger hunt, played some games, and had snack.  It was a beautiful day.

Room 211 Are Becoming Math Freaks

On Friday our class got together with room 303 to go over the math freaks activities. The students rotated through six or seven of the stations. We should be ready by Monday night for the big event!  Your students are becoming experts. A lot of good math talk going on!
